When I was 12, my ambition was to become a doctor. For that I chose Science stream in my high school. Unfortunately, I was unable to take the entrance exam due to some health issues. So, I was unable to take up my MBBS course.
But I didn’t give up, and had chosen my degree course. After 2 to 3 years I got an opportunity to do my course in Philippines. I was really glad to know about that. I informed my parents about it. Woefully, my parents didn’t have enough money to pay for my studies. My dream was shattered.
If I’m able, I will try to achieve my ambition in future. Because ignoring my dream job is not an option for me. I have always been a person who loves to be there for people in need. I know for a fact that medical professionals play a major role in treating and rendering services to others who seek care.
At this point in my life today, I realise that I would never be fit to pursue a medical course, as my degree is related to Commerce. Earlier, I had planned that after completing my degree programme, I would join the course, but due to the financial constraints in my family, I opted to go forward with a relevant course of my choice as a milestone for my future. Even today, there are times when I feel that my ambition could never come true.
