Phobia – IELTS cue card topic

Hi there!

Let’s talk about things that frighten you….suppose this is your cue card question during the IELTS speaking module. Many would start answering this question by describing their unease. A quick tip, include an occasion where you felt the most afraid, try to be descriptive about when it happened, what led you to it and if time permits let know of how you got out of the situation. I’m sure this would give you a few cues to speak and explain the scenario or the incident for two minutes.

Now, when you speak about your fear, try and include its name. I have corraled a list of common phobias. It would be a good idea to go through the log below and learn how your fears are better known as,
